London Design Festival 2015
We were very privileged to be able to exhibit our pieces in the Old Gymnasium at Rochelle School, Arnold Circus as part of LDF15 and the Shoreditch Design Triangle. The space and natural late summer light provided the perfect backdrop to our presentation that included our two new launches, our Nim table and Leta Chaise. As well as spending time in our adopted home, we also obliged by dining in the neighbouring and wonderful Rochelle Canteen, run by Margot Henderson and Melanie Arnold, which is possibly the most beautiful dining spot in London for both mood and food.

PINCH launch Nim table at LDF 2015
Our Nim coffee table is a present to ourselves to celebrate 11 years of PINCH. We wanted to mark the occasion by designing a new piece that would bring a new energy and presence to the rest of our collection.
With Nim we sought to create a table that references a core sample from the earth, with rough eroded textured sides flowing into a perfectly formed and smooth top. We worked with a high end art fabricator to make this majestic piece cast in Jesmonite, each piece is then individually hand painted, and production is limited to 50 editions.

PINCH launch Leta chaise and new finishes at Decorex 2015
We returned to Decorex for the 6th year, where we presented our new Leta chaise, and our Eugene table and Avery chairs in a new walnut finish.
Leta is a sensual and sculptural piece, handmade using traditional upholstery techniques in Norfolk. Featuring a sprung seat and back and turned walnut legs, it brings a simple modernity to a classic piece.
Eugene is a generously proportioned table, with a robust, finned under frame, and a soft chamfer edged tabletop. Previously presented with a natural oak top and dark stained ash base, Eugene was launched at Decorex in solid black American walnut and presented with Avery chairs shown for the first time in solid walnut.

Special thanks goes to Dodd’s gin, created at the London Distillery Company in Battersea, who generously sponsored our late night opening during LDF. Ticking both the form and function boxes, this tastes as good in a G&T as the bottle looks on display. Good luck to Dodd’s gin on their crowd funding venture.
