    LDF 17: PINCH X 1882 Ltd. FLARE

Our brand new Fine Bone China collection FLARE was launched at our Bourne Street shop during London Design Festival 2017. During the festival we presented an exhibition of the project’s story, ambitions and journey, revealing the processes and craftsmanship involved in both the design and development of the collection for 1882 Ltd.

FLARE, made by expert craftspeople in Stoke On Trent, represents our ever present ambition that our work
combines strong shape, beautiful materiality and a commitment to expert making. The collection, comprising a pitcher, jug, mug and series of 3 bowls, is now available to purchase from the shop.

Thanks to all the press and our supporters who attended our breakfasts, and popped in during the week to find out more about this project and collection.

LDF Round Up: The Conran Shop x PINCH: L’Abattoir

Our long-term collaborators, The Conran Shop, invited us to create an installation for the window in their Marylebone store. Based around the theme of a Craft Laboratory, we presented a unique series of stylised stories that framed the progressions and abstracted inspirations behind some of our favourite pieces in our cross-category collection.

The installation, L’Abattoir, communicated how we approach ‘making’ our designs and showed how much thought,
experimentation and creative commitment goes into each piece.

Thanks to everyone who came to learn more about our designs, inspirations, and what really goes into the process of making our unique furniture.

LDF Round Up: Decorex International 2017

Returning to Decorex International once again, this year our stand told a tale in shades of green, where we launched our TWIG bench in a new format. We also presented a brand new olive green colour way for our Joyce cabinets. Also available in bespoke colours, the Joyce is a statement piece designed to last.

This year we also showcased a brand new hand blocked velvet fabric TULIP by Neisha Crosland for Turnell & Gigon on our Pendel two-seat sofa.

We enjoyed taking new and old trade clients through our collection of designs, and also discussed bespoke
opportunities across our portfolio. We would like to thank everyone who visited us during a fantastic London
Design Festival, and look forward to next year.

    First PINCH shop opens

Today marks the opening of our first ever shop at 46 Bourne Street, London, in the heart of the capital’s favourite interiors district; Pimlico Road.

The light and airy shop (which once belonged to influential cookery writer Elizabeth David) will showcase our collection of iconic designs across cabinetry, upholstery and lighting, all of which will be rotated on a regular basis. We look forward to welcoming new and loyal clients into our space; they might want to discuss bespoke projects, or simply pop in to take possession of some of our smaller pieces. Our shop will allow us to lift our furniture off the pages of magazines, to really let customers get close to the pieces and to bring our story to a much wider audience. We hope to see you soon.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9-6pm and Saturday 10-4pm
