Each light is supplied with individual installation instructions, if you require these ahead of delivery please contact our sales team. We recommend hiring a certified electrician for the installation.

Our pendant lights can be fitted to an angled ceiling when used with a fabric braided cord.

This piece may be used in a bathroom but careful consideration needs to be given where the fixture is to be situated. We do not recommend using our fittings in a very moist environment.

Light fittings are given an IP rating which dictates their suitability for a particular environment either inside or outside the home. The IP stands for ‘Ingress Protection’ and is followed by a 2 digit number which rates its level of protection against intrusion by objects e.g., dust (digit 1) and level of waterproofing (digit 2). Our lighting is rated IP20

You need to establish in which area of your bathroom the light will be placed and how exposed it will be to water. Electrical safety regulations break down the bathroom area into clear zones to help you select the right fitting with the appropriate IP rating for the level of protection required. Please refer to your local country regulations on this. For areas in the bathroom which fall outside of zones close to water, no IP ratings are required and our fittings can be used.

This piece is made from natural materials and we do not recommend it for outdoor use.

We do not not supply light bulbs with our lighting collection so they can be tailored to your individual requirements. The recommended bulb for your new light piece can be found in the "Lighting specification" section of each product page.

This piece is compatible with LED bulbs. We recommend using LED bulbs only.

Do the lights work with a dimmer switch?
Our lights are light fixtures only and if fitted with a dimmable bulb are compatible with hard-wired dimmer switches.

Different countries have different safety certification for lighting. UL is the USA certification and CE is the EU certification. Please check which option is acceptable for the country you are using the light in, for example Canada uses UL and Australia uses CE. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global safety certification for lighting supplied to the United States. Any light fixtures sold into the United States or Canada must use components or have the whole fixture tested by Underwriters Laboratories to ensure the highest safety standards.Our UL lighting uses UL listed components.The CE marking is required for goods sold in the European Economic Area. "CE" is the abbreviation of "conformité européenne" (French for "European conformity"). Any light fixtures sold into the EU must be assessed and deemed to meet EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements.Our CE lighting uses CE listed components.

We do not offer customisation options as standard on our lighting collection as the pieces are made in small batches. However if you have a project that requires customisation on multiple pieces please contact our sales team to see how we can accommodate your request.

Our lighting is supplied with a natural coloured weave flex as standard. This cord has been designed as part of the piece and thus we do not offer custom cord colours.

The diameter of our standard ceiling rose measures 125 mm/5 inches.

Our fabric braided cord pendants are supplied with a powder coated off white ceiling rose.

Approximate product weights can be found on the spec sheet downloaded from the product page. The weight excludes any packaging.

It is best to avoid liquid cleaners. Any settled dust may be removed using a vacuum on the low setting.

The plant fibre is grown in the Philippines. It is made from the leaves of an Abaca plant and is inherently sustainable.
