Plant fibre shade
The Faustine table light shade has an abaca fibre outer and a linen lining. As a natural material, each length of plant fibre is unique and as such variations in colour will occur. The metalwork is dark bronze finished.
Plaster
Plaster is a durable, water-based material with excellent casting properties that can replicate very fine details. Plaster that contains marble aggregate produces a polished, marble-like finish which is lighter than concrete and kinder to the environment than resin-based materials.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Does the light come with a bulb?
We do not not supply light bulbs with our lighting collection so they can be tailored to your individual requirements. The recommended bulb for your new light piece can be found in the "Lighting specification" section of each product page.
What bulbs work with this light?
Bulb recommendations can be found in the "Lighting specification" section of the product page.
Is the light compatible with LED bulbs?
This piece is compatible with LED bulbs. We recommend using LED bulbs only.
Are the light switches dimmable?
All of our table lights are supplied with a dimmer switch as standard.
What do UL and CE mean?
Different countries have different safety certification for lighting. UL is the USA certification and CE is the EU standard. Please check which option is acceptable for the country you are using the light in, for example Canada uses UL and Australia uses CE.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global safety certification for lighting supplied to the United States. Any light fixtures sold into the United States or Canada must use components or have the whole fixture tested by Underwriters Laboratories to ensure the highest safety standards.
Our UL lighting uses UL listed components.
The CE marking is required for goods sold in the European Economic Area. "CE" is the abbreviation of "conformité européenne" (French for "European conformity"). Any light fixtures sold into the EU must be assessed and deemed to meet EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
Our CE lighting uses CE listed components including CE wall plugs.
Can I customise this piece?
We do not offer customisation options as standard on our lighting collection as the pieces are made in small batches. However if you have a project that requires customisation on multiple pieces please contact our sales team to see how we can accommodate your request.
Can the cord that comes with this piece be changed?
Our lighting is supplied with a natural coloured weave flex as standard. This cord has been designed as part of the piece and thus we do not offer custom cord colours.
What is the weight of the product?
Approximate product weights can be found on the spec sheet downloaded from the product page. The weight excludes any packaging.
How do I clean the light?
It is best to avoid liquid cleaners. Any settled dust may be removed using a vacuum on the low setting.
Where is the plant fibre grown?
The plant fibre is grown in the Philippines. It is made from the leaves of an Abaca plant and is inherently sustainable.
Can I order samples of this material?
Unfortunately we do not provide samples of this material. Our website has been designed to illustrate the detail of our pieces and the finishes and material they are made from. If you require any additional imagery our sales team will be more than happy to send you photos from our shop floor.
