Description
The Avery was inspired by the classic Arts & Crafts furniture style. Defined by its lithe form and rigorous simplicity, it is sculpted with slim timber arms and a generous upholstered seat and back, to invite a truly comfortable sit. Available in a range of upholstered options, it can be customised in one of our house leathers, or in customer’s own leather.
This piece is made in Europe and upholstered in the UK.

House leathers
Our house leathers have a special surface treatment which guards against wear and tear, making it water repellent and stain resistant as well ensuring all hides are cohesive in look and feel. As a natural material it will age slightly according to its environment, creating a beautiful patina over time. We recommend you avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight.
Customer's own leather
We offer our Avery chairs upholstered in customer's own leather. If you do not have a specific leather in mind our sales team can recommend a suitable option for your new piece.
European oak
European oak is a slow growing hardwood native tree to Europe. It has a golden to light brown colouring with a variety of grain patterns. Oak is very hard, durable wood and gets darker and richer with age. We use a protective white oil finish to allow the timber to age gracefully without heavy discolouration and withstand daily spillage.
Black American walnut
Black American walnut is slow growing deciduous tree native to north America and Canada. It is a hardwood prized for its dark brown, purplish hue with a sometimes swirling grain, it can display many unique characteristics, such as knots and variations in depth of tone. Walnut will get lighter with age becoming more honeyed over time. We use a clear, satin hard-wax oil that enriches the colour of the timber.

• If cleaning is essential for small marks, carefully dab with a clean, lint-free cloth, and vacuum gently using the small brush attachment. For more pronounced marks, please refer to a professional leather cleaner.
Do not:
• Use any abrasive or chemical cleaning products or bleach, as this will damage the leather.
Customer's own leather
We recommend you avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or next to strong heat sources as this can cause leather to discolour or dry out prematurely. For customer own leather cleaning and care instructions please refer to the individual leather provider or a professional leather cleaner.

We blend traditional making methods with modern materials.
A good sofa requires a strong skeleton (the frame) that will stand the test of time. All our sofas are made with solid FSC European hardwood frames, which we guarantee for life.
Each design in our collection is developed and made according to its own needs, and the critical balance between support and comfort. All the components used are of a high calibre that will be noticeable in the sit. With sustainability in mind renewable materials, that offer durability and longevity, are used as much as possible; from hessian to coconut fibre to wool felt.
Individually cut and stitched
We have access to a huge array of fabric suppliers and our team are happy to suggest a fabric to meet your brief if you have not already selected your own. We can work with new production fabric and vintage cloths. The team will ask for a sample to approve if you are supplying your own material to ensure it is suitable for the desired shape, and hard wearing enough to last well.
